  • Frank, I'm a lifelong UU - there is very clearly mention of God in the Principles and Sources statement as there is in your average UU church service. You clearly are not familiar with what you are talking about. I found "that other stuff" in the UUA bylaws.

  • Strictly speaking Carol, Jefferson was following the teachings of Unitarianism, not the other way around. Unitarianism dates back to the birth of the Christian church. It's unsurprising that many of the so-called Christians today don't understand their own history.

  • They are a church, the roots are Christian, with an understanding that the Christian church is not the sole source of "truth". Many of the early founding fathers were Unitarians. Your story about your "sick friend" is clearly a load of something. I"m guessing you've never actually met a UU.
